ENVIRONMENT & METEOROLOGY
Multiple integration options
How can you meet the challenge of operating environmental monitoring and meteorological technology in remote areas, whether for research purposes or environmental protection?
Imagine you are faced with the challenge of conducting environmental monitoring and meteorological engineering in remote areas. Perhaps you are a researcher investigating the secrets of the weather or an environmentalist monitoring nature.
In this remote world, where conventional power supplies often fail, you are entering an unknown landscape. But there is a solution, a reliable technology that provides you with the power you need, whether for LiDAR, solar, radar or the operation of mountain huts and temporary buildings.
The quiet operation of the Remote fuel cell allows you to realise your project autonomously over the long term without any negative impact on the environment.
Here, you find further inspiration for the use of our fuel cell technology.
POWER SUPPLY FOR LIDAR SYSTEMS IN WINTER
JAPAN
Wind farm project developers need reliable wind profiles for site assessment and farm design, often for at least one year. Conventional measurement equipment on temporary towers requires expensive grounding measures. Power supply at remote sites is a challenge, as there is often no connection to the power grid. Diesel generators are unsuitable, and power from small wind or PV systems is unreliable. Fuel cell generators can solve this, but have logistics, durability, and operational issues in extreme environments. This results in high costs for repeated site visits.
CLEAN POWER AT MOUNT EVEREST BASE CAMP
MOUNT EVEREST BASE CAMP
In 2018, our fuel cells rose to great heights.. For an entire season, they supplied power to Mount Everest Base Camp. As the Himalayas are a sensitive environment, our customer required a sustainable solution to replace a diesel generator.
