Our product family of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) power generators for professional off-grid applications has been proven worldwide since 2013. It covers a wide range of requirements and can be fueled with Propane, optionally natural gas, Ammonia or Hydrogen.

The company was founded as a management-buy-out of an experienced development team by Dr. Matthias Boltze in 2010, that’s roots go back to fuel cell development activities in the early 2000s at Webasto in Neubrandenburg.

The REMOTE 400 off-grid fuel cell generator that directly converts Propane to electricity, was the first commercial product of its kind in Europe in 2013, followed by the market entry to North America in 2019.

Continuous improvement and evolutionary development were the drivers to create the REMOTE 250 and REMOTE 500 Propane fuel cell models in 2025, to cover a wide range of applications with average loads between 60 and 1.800 W.

Today, REMOTE fuel cell generators made by NEW ENERDAY are a proven solution in hundreds of professional applications and installations worldwide.

Our stacks, the heart of our generators, operate at temperatures between 750 °C and 850 °C. They convert Propane or natural gas into power electrochemically, with almost no moving parts and are free of lubricants and water.
